The NetApp Partner Programme for Service Providers aims to bring together NetApp and market leading companies such as Phoenix, to deliver IT as a service to address customers’ needs. The programme is structured to support partners through design, deployment and selling, while supporting the partners’ IT-as-a-service solutions.
Phoenix’s secure Cloud based Backup services mean important documents, emails or system files can be quickly restored onsite by IT staff, through an easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI). Larger full system restores can be performed offsite by Phoenix; with critical data protected in its state-of-the-art data centres or any one of its 18 regional business continuity centres.
Mike Osborne, Director and Head of Business Continuity Services at Phoenix commented: “We pride ourselves on having a deep understanding of IT related business challenges both in normal and abnormal circumstances. At the heart of this is the reliability and accessibility of critical data in both normal and abnormal circumstances. Our NetApp service provider partnership means we can provide customers with proven solutions to real problems and our accreditation demonstrates the expertise, investment and commitment we place on underpinning our customers’ data security and business continuity. We’re looking forward to leveraging the NetApp partnership to take this capability to a far wider audience.”
Pete Rawden, senior director of Partners & Pathways at NetApp also commented: “As a partner, Phoenix has a fantastic regional footprint of facilities and an extensive customer base in the mid-market. This accreditation will allow Phoenix to take advantage of NetApp’s technologies and expertise to get its differentiated end-to-end solutions to market quickly. The partnership will mean both parties can benefit from additional value, all while building customer loyalty.”
