With a name for undertaking a rigorous, technical design assessment, the Uptime Institute, to date, has issued 229 certifications in 38 countries around the world. This new Certification, on behalf of Ministry of Customs and Trade, is the first Tier III Design Certification on the public sector that has been ratified within Turkey.
By using the very latest in advanced 3D design and computer modelling techniques; the Sudlows Certified design will now form the basis for the development of a new, energy efficient, Tier III Certified data centre on behalf of the Republic of Turkey - Ministry of Customs and Trade.
The Uptime Institute undertook a series of detailed assessments of various design aspects of the submitted technical plans including; mechanical, cooling, power, backup generators and fire suppression before reporting back with a technical assessment outlining the approved Tier III ratification.

The Uptime Institute ranks only the most advanced data centres, on a scale known as Tier Ratings. The Tier Certification refers to a data centres physical infrastructure. The certifications are awarded in four levels with Tier IV the highest level ranking; these are based on metrics such as resilience and Concurrent Maintainability.
