London Data Exchange (LDeX) merges with Ping Networks

Fast growing London-based Data Centre and Network operator London Data Exchange (LDeX) has announced the merger of London Data Exchange Limited (LDeX) and Ping Networks Limited to form the LDeX Group Limited.

LDeX Group have acquired 100% of the share capital of both LDeX and Ping Networks to create a new brand that will focus on developing the core strengths of both entities in the areas of high quality colocation services and intelligent networks.


Commenting on the merger, Rob Garbutt, CEO & Co-Founder of LDeX Group, said: “I am very excited about the creation of the LDeX Group and combining our product sets under one consistent brand. By combining our in-house talent, we are better placed to serve our growing customers’ needs going forward. Our ability to link people, places and clouds has been boosted significantly with the flexible service creation capability that the combined group can now offer to the market”.


LDeX group welcomes Simon Chamberlain onto the board of directors as new CTO. Patrick Doyle (Co-founder of LDeX) will become COO of the new Group.


LDeX continues to be a privately, well-funded organisation that is cash generative and EBITDA positive with year on year double digit growth. The creation of the group gives further financial strength going forward and will enable LDeX group to better serve its’ existing customer base, on-board new clients and expand its’ data centre foot print and IP network across multiple regions.
