“Mobile devices have made employees more productive, and IT is fighting to maintain compliance without hindering that productivity,” said Ezequiel Steiner, General Manager, Mobility Solutions at Acronis. “Now that many IT departments have implemented MDM systems to gain control of mobile device security, the natural next step is to extend that control to also manage and secure the access, storage and editing of content on those devices. This promotion makes it easier and faster for IT to get back in the driver’s seat, while ensuring that users gain the simplicity and ease of use they crave. We are excited to work with MobileIron to meet the evolving needs of organisations with the most stringent security regulations.”

As an AppConnect partner, Acronis is leveraging the MobileIron platform to deliver a best-of-breed solution for secure mobile content management and editing with Acronis mobilEcho®.
