Gridstore appoints Victoria Grey as Chief Marketing Officer

Industry veteran to spearhead marketing as company begins its global expansion.

Following its launch to expand into EMEA, GRIDSTORE™, the leader in software-defined storage optimised for Windows Servers and Hyper-V, has announced the appointment of Victoria Grey as Chief Marketing Officer. As a seasoned industry expert, Victoria has been instrumental in building some of the most innovative and progressive marketing teams in Silicon Valley, winning myriad accolades and awards for her marketing acumen and creativity. Most recently, Grey has been named one of CRN’s 2014 Channel Chiefs. This prestigious list of the most powerful leaders in the IT channel recognises those executives directly responsible for driving channel growth within their organisation, w hile evangelising the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.

Reporting directly to CEO George Symons, Grey will be responsible for overseeing the planning, strategy and execution of Gridstore’s global marketing and channel initiatives. Victoria will play a critical role in helping lead the company through its next phase of growth and continued leadership in delivering the industry’s foremost software-defined storage solutions optimised for Windows servers and Hyper-V that address today’s storage challenges. Victoria has over 25 years’ experience in technology sales and marketing, with a specialty in the data storage business.

Victoria joins Gridstore from Soonr where she was Chief Marketing Officer of worldwide marketing. While at Soonr, she initiated a complete overhaul of the company’s channel program, winning the XCellence Award from CRN’s XChange, and resulting in dramatic growth in North American channel partners and sales. Prior to Soonr she was at Nexsan, a leader in unified hybrid storage, where she was senior vice president of worldwide corporate and product marketing. While at Nexsan she drove the complete rebranding of all aspects of the company, driving significant growth through a network of partners and winning the 2013 Women of the Channel Award. Before Nexsan Victoria has held a number of senior positions at market leading companies, including Quantum, EMC, Legato, and Apple.
