Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has joined with CentriLogic, a trusted provider of international hybrid hosting, cloud computing, co-location and managed hosting solutions, to enable partners in the UK and Ireland to deliver OpenTouch™Enterprise Cloud (OTEC) as Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). The new deployment model will enable partners to deliver OTEC more easily, and at a more affordable cost for customers as the enterprise cloud and collaboration market are expected to grow.
OpenTouch Enterprise Cloud is a fully flexible collaborative tool that enables business partners to build a UCaaS offer for enterprise customers with secure, always-on Unified Communications, maximising business responsiveness. With the new UCaaS offering, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise presents OTEC with a lower cost of deployment for its partners in the UK and Ireland through a modular licensing model.
CentriLogic, already a major data centre provider across North America, will host all data and infrastructure in its state-of-the-art data centre located in Bracknell, UK.
