Cobweb Solutions partners with Ingram Micro UK

Cobweb Solutions has agreed a strategic partnership with Ingram Micro UK to distribute its range of cloud solutions.

The partnership will enable Ingram Micro partners to work directly with Cobweb to provide a range of enterprise class cloud solutions to their SMB and mid-market customers. The complete range of cloud solutions from Cobweb will be available, including hosted versions of Microsoft Lync with Enterprise Voice, Microsoft Exchange and online backup.

Cobweb sees this strategic partnership as an ideal opportunity to leverage Ingram Micro’s customer breadth and deliver its solutions to a wider range of channel partners.

Mark Davies, Sales and Marketing Director at Cobweb said: “Ingram Micro is a giant in the industry with an evolving cloud model with which it is taking a leading role in the move to cloud computing within the channel.

“Having delivered hosted solutions for over a decade and established ourselves as leaders in the field, we are delighted that Ingram Micro have recognised our capabilities and partnered with us. We know that VARs are looking to adapt to provide cloud and hybrid solutions in a way that gives them complete control and ownership of their customers and this is the core premise of our partner program. By working with Ingram Micro we can reach a wider audience of VARs and help them to transform their businesses in order to embrace cloud whilst maintaining their rightful position as the trusted advisor for their customer."

Apay Obang-Oyway, General Manager, Enterprise Software and Services Group, Ingram Micro commented: “Now is the ideal time for such a forward-thinking manufacturer as Cobweb Solutions to partner with Ingram Micro as our UK and global cloud business continues to gain momentum. Our global focus, following the worldwide expansion of the Ingram Micro Cloud organization, only offers partners greater opportunity to develop, expand and accelerate their businesses with best in class cloud solutions.

“Supported by our global business and the capabilities of our dedicated UK team, Cobweb, along with the other vendor and reseller partners making up our cloud ecosystem, can leverage educational tools and capabilities combined with sales opportunities, keeping them in line with the upwards trajectory cloud adoption is taking around the world,” he concluded.

Cloud solutions from Cobweb will be available to purchase from Ingram Micro UK on 1st June 2014.
