NetSuite is now really heading out on the service aggregation road by packaging up the additional services needed to address the business needs of a specific market sector and integrating them with the relevant application from its core suite. In this latest case, the target user group is wholesale distributors, and Netsuite’s offering is a trnkey service that allows distributors to jump start B2B and B2C ecommerce with a package of specialist expert services and SuiteCommerce.

Known as the SuiteCommerce Implementation Service, it s is geared to help distributors expand their online services so as to reach new markets and new customers, grow revenue, reduce the administrative costs of phone, email, direct and fax orders and provide easier account administration.

The NetSuite SuiteCommerce Implementation Service supports the realisation that

A recent survey by the Acquity Group  has indicated that B2B buyers increasingly want the same easy and convenient online experience for business as they have as consumers on B2C ecommerce sites. It found, for example, that 57 percent of business buyers have bought goods for their organisations online, and 37 percent expect to spend more of their procurement budgets online next year.

That survey, 2013 State of B2B Procurement Study also found that 71 percent of all respondents said they'd be more likely to order online or buy more than they would if it were easier and more convenient to browse and buy goods online.

Implementation by the NetSuite Professional Services team helps ensure that distributors have a top-quality ecommerce platform that accelerates time to value and meets rapidly changing customer and market demands.

With a self-service B2B portal, SuiteCommerce enables distributors to gain new internal cost-efficiencies while making it easier and more convenient for customers to order products, manage account details, track order status and shipments, pay via credit card or be invoiced with payment terms up to their credit limit based on current account balance, pay their negotiated price including quantity price breaks, and view custom catalogs specific to them.

It also helps satisfy the expectation of B2B buyers for a B2C-like online shopping experience that features user-friendly design, rich interactivity and more.

Distributors can deliver a high-calibre ecommerce experience for core B2B customers while also driving incremental revenue by expanding their markets to consumers, all on a single SuiteCommerce instance.

“We’re committed to helping wholesale distributors stay competitive by helping them to cost-effectively increase market share and reach new customers,” said Andy Lloyd, NetSuite General Manager of Commerce Products. “NetSuite’s expert services along with our award-winning SuiteCommerce platform give distributors a comprehensive commerce solution that provides their business partners and customers with the engaging and relevant online experiences they have come to expect.”

Available now, the SuiteCommerce Implementation Service provides a web store loaded with features and functionality. Depending on the business need and how quickly implementation is required, the service is available in standard and premium packages. The premium package includes functionality for product comparisons, newsletter publishing, merchandising zones, recently viewed items and product lead time displays, in addition to features in the standard edition, which include quick ordering, type ahead search, create and review quotes, and find a retailer.

NetSuite SuiteCommerce enables B2C and B2B merchants, manufacturers and distributors to seamlessly connect every step of a multi-channel, multi-location business—from ecommerce, POS and order management to merchandising, marketing, inventory, financials and customer support.
