Marketing appointment reflects ambition of Quiss Technology

Quiss Technology, the IT services provider, headquartered in Tamworth, has appointed Tracy Armstrong to co-ordinate the firm’s marketing activities as interest in the firm’s outsourcing and hosting solutions continues to grow.

Armstrong joins with a good track record in lead generation, marketing and event management, with her experience raising the profile of a business through exhibitions and networking an important factor in her appointment.

Commenting on her move, Armstrong said: “I’m new to the IT sector and hope to bring a fresh set of eyes and an innovative approach to marketing the unique offering of Quiss Technology. Given the positive feedback from clients and the firm’s determination to continue its impressive recent growth, this should be a relatively simple job; the quality of the service sells itself.

“A particular focus for our marketing efforts will be our ability to quickly and easily make available a virtual platform environment to allow independent software vendors to offer hosted applications and take advantage of the Quiss Cloud.

“We will be exhibiting at more shows this year, particularly in the legal sector, to sell our services and convince each audience that whilst some might see risks in the Cloud, we can deliver the right Cloud solution for any business.”

Quiss Managing Director, Andy Michael, commented: “Tracy has the enthusiasm and ambition we look for in everyone we employ. We have concentrated all our efforts on service delivery and developing new solutions to client’s problems, without really making too much of how long we’ve been doing it, the clients we’ve retained or the new ones won.

“It will be Tracy’s responsibility to get our key messages heard, whilst ensuring our marketing activities reflect the quality of our service and the innovation on which our reputation is built. I have every confidence she has the ability to help us achieve our long term growth objectives and take the pressure that our success inevitably brings.”

Armstrong’s appointment is the latest in a number of recent appointments and promotions that have helped Quiss Technology align the skills within the business with its long-term strategic plan.
