Cleversafe’s dsNet® object-based storage solution uses a patented, geographically dispersed erasure coding algorithm that stores data as virtualized and encrypted “slices” that are spread across multiple independent storage nodes in a cloud. With dispersed object storage, the need for data replication and RAID is eliminated, which reduces capital and operating expenses while improving data uptime and security.
