Stromasys unveils what it says is the first ever solution to migrate VAX, Alpha, HP 3000, PDP-11, and SPARC critical applications to the cloud.

For over 15 years, Stromasys’ Charon product family has enabled customers to migrate their mission-critical systems and applications to the latest generation of hardware in a very secure, fast, and cost-effective way.

With this new cloud offering, clients of Stromasys can choose to run their critical applications at a third-party data center provider and leverage all the features and benefits of a cloud infrastructure, such as ultra-fast backups, superior reliability, and lower maintenance costs—all without having to recompile their applications!

“We are proud to be the first company to give customers complete flexibility and choice in migrating their classic systems, either to the cloud or to the latest generation of on-premise servers,” says John Prot, CEO of Stromasys.

The new cloud offering allows customers to substantially reduce the costs of infrastructure, maintenance, and administrative support. It also provides easy access to critical applications from anywhere and any device.
