GreenQloud raises new funding round

GreenQloud, the cloud infrastructure software company, has closed a funding round led by the international investment firm Novator, and existing investors Keel Investments LLC and Nýsköpunarsjóður atvinnulífsins. The new investment round will facilitate deeper market reach and operational expansion in new territories.

In addition to GreenQloud’s growth in Europe, the company is currently opening its first US office in the Seattle area. GreenQloud has had several wins of late, including international awards acknowledgements and CCP Games’ announcement that it will implement GreenQloud’s QStack™ software to manage its extensive IT infrastructure.

“Novator recognizes the value that GreenQloud brings to the exponentially expanding cloud infrastructure industry and has demonstrated remarkable traction in capturing the IT market internationally, ” said Birgir Már Ragnarsson, Partner at Novator. “We believe GreenQloud is well positioned to become the leader in private/hybrid cloud software solutions.”
