Dynatrace has unveiled a partnership with VMware announcing that Dynatrace has achieved VMware Ready- vCloud Air™ status. Dynatrace is a member of the access tier of the vCloud Air ISV program, and is the first modern APM solution available on the VMware Solution Exchange for vCloud Air users.

“We are pleased Dynatrace has joined the vCloud Air ISV Program and has achieved VMware Ready- vCloud Air certification. Dynatrace works seamlessly within VMware vCloud Air, and can be deployed in production with confidence,” said Sanjay Katyal, Vice President, Global Alliances & OEMs, VMware. “This is significant for our customers because it brings two trusted companies together – the market leader in virtual environments and the market leader in APM – to help organizations accelerate transitions to the cloud.”

VMware’s vCloud Air platform is designed to make the shift to the cloud as simple as possible, delivering a high degree of homogeneity between on-premise and cloud architecture, allowing for easy migration of applications between the two environments.

Dynatrace makes this even easier by addressing and solving numerous IT challenges. Highlights include:
· A complete view of all transactions across the entire application delivery chain, from end-users across all application tiers to the database and back.
· Identification and resolution of problems caused by third-party services.
· Ability to scale smartly. Dynatrace enables IT to understand capacity needs with metrics like transaction-load or user-load patterns.

“Using Dynatrace on vCloud Air, enterprises gain end-to-end transaction visibility across the entire application delivery chain, with auto-discovery and performance baselines, to identify bottlenecks and performance hot spots wherever they occur,” said Steve Tack, Vice President of Product Management at Dynatrace. “This delivers an immediate ROI and enables organizations to deploy their apps faster, accelerate performance, and determine the root cause of issues in minutes, not days or weeks, to improve bottom line business results.”

The VMware Ready program is a co-branding benefit of the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program that makes it easy for customers to identify partner products certified to work with VMware cloud infrastructure. Customers can use these products and solutions to lower project risks and realize cost savings over custom built solutions. With thousands of members worldwide, the VMware TAP program includes best-of-breed technology partners with the shared commitment to bring the best expertise and business solution for each unique customer need.
