HEG acquires intergenia, accelerating growth in managed hosting

Host Europe Group (HEG), Europe’s largest privately owned hosting provider has announced the successful acquisition of intergenia for an undisclosed consideration.

Launched in 1999, intergenia Holding GmbH is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of professional web hosting and server solutions. As a pioneer in the dedicated server hosting market, the company represents a perfect synergy of innovation and technical know-how with its brands PlusServer, serverloft, Server4You and Unmetered.com. In addition, intergenia operates Europe’s greenest data centre datadock.

This acquisition will further strengthen HEG managed hosting as the largest in Germany, and position the company as a leading provider of reliable and scalable hosting solutions to businesses across Europe, backed by peerless customer support.
