European apointments at CommScope

CommScope announces new appointments to its UK enterprise sales management team to support its continued growth and customer support in Europe. The appointment of Willie O’Connell as European managing director of CommScope’s Data Centre on Demand business and Lewis White as Enterprise managing director for Northern Europe will support CommScope’s efforts in strengthening existing customer relationships and delivering innovative solutions to business enterprises across the region.

O’Connell will be responsible for CommScope’s new purpose-built data centre business across Europe, developing sales and support capabilities for the DCoD solution and expanding customer opportunities. O’Connell has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and data industry, having worked in various technical and sales roles, with AT&T, Lucent and OFS. He has been with CommScope since 2012, most recently as Enterprise managing director for Northern Europe.

In replacing O’Connell as Enterprise managing director for Northern Europe, White is responsible for the overall success of the enterprise business in the UK, Ireland and Nordics. He brings five years experience working as client director for the EMEA and Caribbean and Latin America regions for CommScope and previous experience managing sales within the IT manufacturing and integrator sectors.
