The new version provides the ability to instantly recover Microsoft Active Directory objects and containers (such as entire domains or user groups) directly from compressed and deduplicated VMware VM backups, without recovering an entire VM first. The object recovery process is simple and straightforward: after specifying a VM backup and a recovery point, NAKIVO Backup & Replication automatically locates the Active Directory database in the VM backup and - within a few seconds - displays the contents of the database right in the product’s Web UI. From this point, the product provides the ability to browse and search the database, view object attributes, and recover Active Directory objects and containers.
