Cloud hosting and data back-up services provider Databax has delivered the transitional IT support and online management for Inteb Sustainability’s move to Lytham on the Fylde coast.

The project has included the installation of innovative cloud technology and a state-of-the-art VOIP telecommunications systems to help the energy specialist serve its growing customer base.

Inteb Sustainability is the first major business tenant to take up residence at the purpose built fully serviced Jubilee House offices owned by Danbro.

Databax managing director Nigel Breddy explains: “This was an important move for Inteb Sustainability and it was vital that our engineers ensured a seamless transition for the company.

“We undertook a series of infrastructure checks in advance to cover all eventualities and ensure that the installation of a fully fledged cloud based server system and VOIP telephony could go ahead.

“Modern businesses are increasingly dependent on fast, reliable and secure internet connectivity and large file transfer capability. Our secure data centre and high tech servers give Inteb Sustainability peace of mind in knowing that connectivity is constant, all data is safely backed up off site and that we can fix any issues remotely. We can also build on these systems as the company grows.”

Inteb Sustainability needed bigger, serviced premises from which to develop its expertise in energy management, environmental assessments, renewable energy, building compliance services and funding of energy efficiency initiatives. Current blue chip clients include commercial property firm CBRE, EDF Energy, Capita, Bureau Veritas and the NHS.

“Databax was recommended to us by one of their existing customers and their IT support has been a fundamental cog in going for growth,” adds Inteb Sustainability Chief Executive Philip Hargreaves.

“The time was right to move into bigger offices where we can keep the team together on one floor and have room for expansion. Jubilee House is a perfect fit and Databax has played a key role in making it happen swiftly and securely.

“This is an exciting time for the company and the move to new headquarters on the Fylde coast gives us the ideal platform from which to grow our impartial service provision to the real estate sector.”
