Equinix launches Partner Program in EMEA

Equinix has launched its Partner Program in EMEA. The program will assist enterprise customers with appropriate IT and cloud solutions and builds on Equinix’s global announcement made earlier this year.

The program has been designed for managed service providers (MSPs), network service providers (NSPs), system integrators (SIs) and solution providers (SPs), and is targeted at companies based in EMEA, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region.

The Equinix Partner Program allows partners to both resell and refer Equinix services, and is intended to help enterprise customers obtain the comprehensive IT services and expertise they need – from the channel community they’re accustomed to working with.

Partners will be able to refer Equinix services, with enterprise customers receiving assistance from the channel community they usually work with. Channel partners will help enterprises use Equinix Cloud Exchange to successfully improve their hybrid cloud strategies and through implementing Equinix's Performance Hub, new recurring revenue streams will also become a reality.

Along with the top cloud platform providers, such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and IBM SoftLayer, other service providers that have recently joined the Equinix Channel Partner Program in EMEA include VMWare, Datapipe and Altoroutes.

The program seeks to open new revenue in the global market, while channel partners will benefit from Equinix's global footprint, advanced interconnection solutions, and vast ecosystems, to meet customers’ IT performance, reliability and cost requirements. Through the program, enterprise customers will be able to strike a balance between public clouds, private clouds and traditional IT environments – all architected, deployed and fully managed by trusted Equinix partners.
