The joint solution includes Ciber Momentum, a software-as-a-service platform for accelerating application modernisation, and WhiteHat Sentinel, a software-as-a-service platform used throughout the software development lifecycle to find and fix vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
“Many organisations rely on legacy applications that cannot support the pace of innovation required in today’s market,” said President and CEO of Ciber, Michael Boustridge. “The partnership between Ciber and WhiteHat addresses two critical issues and overlapping concerns that come up in nearly all of my conversations with CIOs: rapid, flexible delivery of modern, cloud-enabled applications and assurance that these updated architectures are secure and meet compliance standards.”
Ciber Momentum helps companies quickly transform custom systems into modern solutions – enabling competitiveness through speed and agility in business process innovation. WhiteHat Sentinel, which is backed by a team of over 150 security researchers from the WhiteHat Threat Research Center, will be used with Ciber Momentum to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the new code is secure. Customers will benefit by knowing their applications have been thoroughly inspected, that all critical vulnerabilities have been addressed, and that the combined Ciber and WhiteHat solution has provided a secure environment for future business initiatives.
“Ciber and WhiteHat are both in the business of helping enterprises to be competitive and secure in today’s fast-paced environment,” said WhiteHat Security CEO, Craig Hinkley. “Our partnership with Ciber addresses the challenges of moving to a more software-defined environment. Together, we’re helping organisations reduce costs, improve productivity, and manage risk. We’re thrilled to be leveraging our respective strengths to deliver best-in-class solutions.”
