Coreix is using the A10 multi-vector DDoS protection solution, Thunder TPS (Threat Protection System) to protect its high profile customers from the growing threat of complex cyberattacks.

Coreix strives to be a leading managed services provider in the UK and EMEA providing robust, resilient and enterprise-grade managed hosting, colocation and networking solutions. With over 600 customers, customer-driven managed hosting is at the core of its operations. As Coreix continues to expand its business and network of customers, A10’s flexible scaling model will help ensure it can securely manage spikes in traffic and guarantee the robustness of its hosting services. A10 will also enhance the security of its network by integrating Thunder TPS onto the network of data centres around London to route attack traffic away from customer servers and effectively combat the threat of DDoS attacks using its automated response capabilities.

“As our business continues to expand, we are constantly looking for ways to meet our customer needs and wanted a partner that could help us do that securely and effectively,” said Paul Davies, technical director of Coreix. “Across the various sectors that we work in customers are being targeted by DDoS attacks and we wanted to better protect against this growing threat. The flexibility of Thunder TPS, combined with its blend of automated and manual operations, means that we are not only able to successfully shield our customers from these attacks but also their wider network. A10’s Thunder TPS was best-in-class for our requirements and more cost effective, standing out against any other solution that we tried.”

“Today’s service providers – from cloud providers to web hosting services and large enterprises – require an environment that is highly available and secure,” said Ron Symons, regional director at A10 Networks. “However, with the internet firmly established as the main way to channel an organisation’s services to customers, we’ve seen distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks disrupt day-to-day operations, growing dramatically in frequency, size and complexity over the last few years. Given how crucial it is for businesses to consistently meet the needs of its customers, we’re pleased to be supporting Coreix in keeping its customers online and help to ensure they receive secure and undisrupted services.”
