"Yigal is a world-class leader," said Fischer, "His experience and track record at Servicenow, BMC, HP and Mercury Interactive will help us accelerate growth in EMEA while providing our prospects and customers with the best engagement from the evaluation phase to happy customers that improve QoS and optimizing capital investments."
"Having spent the last 17 years in the software infrastructure and service management space it is clear to me that VMTurbo provides a game-changing solution, enabling its customers to move away from reactive, alert-based management to a controlled environment that assures QoS," Elstein said. "For the first time customers can transform from firefighting to a fully-controlled operations mode allowing talented IT professionals to focus on value-add business and differentiating projects rather than continual debugging. In addition, VMTurbo's quick return on investment in 90 days or less and the ability to predict and manage future CAPEX spend, allows its customers to ensure assets are utilised to their fullest prior to purchasing additional hardware, storage, networking -- or bursting to the public cloud."
Elstein will be leveraging his combined experience in both building top-performing sales teams and working closely with system integrators, outsourcers and boutique consulting firms, in order to expand the VMTurbo ecosystem and grow the company's presence in all main markets.
Prior to joining VMTurbo, Elstein was Area Vice President for the ServiceNow EMEA Partner Business. He joined ServiceNow pre-IPO and was a pivotal contributor to the company growth by building the EMEA Partner organisation, selling both to and with Partners.
Before ServiceNow, Elstein ran the BMC Assurance business in EMEA driving growth to its record high across all product lines including acquired technologies. Before that, he was responsible for the HP UK Telecom and Outsourcing sector identifying, building and closing the largest deal in their software division history. In addition, Elstein spent 8 years at Mercury Interactive holding senior positions, including managing the European SaaS business and Managing Director of Italy and Spain.
