To meet the growing demands for digital transformation services with dedicated focus, CenturyLink has promoted Bart Van Aanholt to Vice President of Sales for Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa. In this newly formed executive leadership role, Bart will drive sales growth across these markets. He will lead strategic planning to support the needs of new and existing enterprise customers as they seek solutions that deliver agility and efficiency while reducing risks. Bart will also take charge of CenturyLink’s renewed commitment to the Wholesale strategy, an intrinsic part of the business to service carriers and partners.

Bart Van Aanholt, Vice President of Sales for Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa, CenturyLink explains: “The new CenturyLink spans across more than 30 countries in EMEA, with dense network coverage and an expansive portfolio of network solutions to support customers’ continued growth. My focus on specific markets enables us to be close to customers as their trusted advisor and help them solve their digital transformation needs. We’re challenging the market with our fresh approach, which combines an unrivalled combination of dynamic network connections and multi-cloud management capabilities, layered on top with a differentiated customer experience.”

With over 20 years’ experience in the network industry, Bart was previously Country Director for Level 3 Communications, where he was responsible for the company’s Benelux and Nordics expansion. In this role Bart was also the Managing Director for the Dutch organisation, where he developed regional investment and marketing plans. CenturyLink acquired Level 3 Communications towards the end of 2017.

Bart started his career in the network industry as part of the sales team at IBM Global Network Services.
