To ensure the success of this new venture, Crestchic has teamed up with local company Comeragh Commissioning Solutions LTD, lead by Martin Tobin. The company will trade as Crestchic Ireland. A veteran in the industry, Martin’s local knowledge and connections, combined with Crestchic’s technical expertise and longevity in the marketplace, offers customers access to a wider fleet of solutions along with unrivalled technical knowledge.
Chris Caldwell, Managing Director at Crestchic, explains, “We’re seeing an increased demand for load bank hire in industries all over the globe, with Ireland no exception. Ireland has a growing data centre market, characterised by a mix of data centres targeting enterprise demand and massive investment by hyperscales, more so than any other country in Europe. As a global company, we’ve been supplying our load banks worldwide for over 35 years. However, this move really cements our focus on ensuring that we serve the Irish market to the very best of our ability, offering a quick turnaround on the very latest technology.”
Crestchic’s load bank solutions are used to test backup power systems such as generators, ensuring that they will work effectively when needed. With businesses increasingly choosing to invest in back-up power systems to reduce the likelihood of costly downtime in the event of a power outage, Crestchic’s rental division is able to supply load banks of various capacities on both short and long term hire agreements.
Martin commented, “I’m delighted to be working with Crestchic. Our strategic alliance allows me to strengthen my offering to existing customers, enabling them to access a larger fleet of the latest load bank technology. The growing demand from the data centre market in Ireland makes it an ideal time to launch what we anticipate will be a very successful joint venture.”
