Snyk’s approach enables software developers to be a critical foundation of enterprise security by helping them to maintain speed of software delivery, thereby reducing risk. Snyk integrates into the existing developer workflows and tools, building security into the development process and application ownership by identifying and reporting on vulnerabilities and providing easy, automated fixes.

Alexis Brabant, vice president sales of Arrow`s enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA said, “This agreement strengthens our offer in the DevOps space by introducing developer-first security that integrates into cloud application technologies, prioritising the developer experience and overall business efficiency. Our scalable DevOps portfolio benefits our managed service providers, reseller and system integration customers, improving productivity and security throughout the entire product lifecycle.”

Guy Podjarny, founder and president of Snyk said, “Developer-first security puts security into the hands of developers. It helps them address these issues by easily integrating into their workflows and tools, while giving security teams the visibility and control they require. Cloud and DevOps require developers to play a critical role in enterprise security, and with the right tools and visibility, they can help organizations scale securely and efficiently.”

Similar to the DevOps movement, developer-first security is designed for shared ownership of application security across Dev, Sec and Ops teams - helping collaboration, speed, and security across all teams, process and approaches.
