Hyve Launches Berlin Hub to Target DACH Cloud Market

Hyve Managed Hosting expands its cloud services to Germany with the opening of a new hub in Berlin, aiming to tap into the booming DACH cloud computing market.

Hyve Managed Hosting, a global leader in fully managed hosting, is making strides into the German and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) market with the inauguration of its new European hub in Berlin. With a presence in the UK, US, and Europe, Hyve delivers bespoke infrastructure and management services, including private cloud, dedicated servers, colocation, and security services, boasting major clients like Capita, Ansys, Konica Minolta, and the NHS.

The European cloud computing market, valued at $56.85 billion in 2022, is forecasted to soar to $470.13 billion by 2032, with Germany at the forefront of this growth. Recent surveys reveal a significant surge in demand for cloud services among German enterprises, with over 46.5% currently utilising cloud technology and an additional 11.1% planning to adopt it. This trend indicates that cloud services will account for more than half of data centre capacity by 2025.

In a market dominated by major players, Hyve Managed Hosting GmbH aims to provide organisations in the region with a personalised approach, offering high-performance cloud hosting solutions with tailored management and support. Their services include Managed Private Cloud, Enterprise Cloud, Hybrid & Multi-Cloud solutions, Dedicated & Bare Metal Servers, and Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Jake Madders, co-founder of Hyve Managed Hosting, states, “Germany's thriving economy and expanding cloud market made it an obvious choice for our European HQ. Berlin, with its vibrant tech scene and cultural alignment with Brighton, our global HQ, stood out as the perfect location.”

Mike Wotton, now Operations Manager at Hyve Managed Hosting GmbH, adds, “Hyve fills a gap in the German market for an established provider with a focus on support. Our aim is to become the go-to managed cloud provider in the DACH region.”

Hyve's expansion into Germany follows a period of robust growth, with a 51% revenue increase over three years and a 30% rise in global headcount in 2023. The company has been recognised for excellence in service and has already been shortlisted for two prestigious awards in 2024.

Looking ahead, Hyve plans to invest in recruitment for its German branch while exploring further expansion opportunities across Europe, APAC, and Australia. With a new office in Austin, Texas, the company is also making significant strides in the US market.
