His responsibilities  include M&A, key transaction support and working across teams to unlock new growth opportunities while upholding the company’s commitment to renewable energy, advanced technologies, and responsible innovation.

Trained as a lawyer, Braz brings a unique combination of legal, corporate and operational experience to Verne. After an early career in commercial law and in-house roles in the mining and telecoms sectors, Braz spent eight years with Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a pan-African digital infrastructure and services company, where he served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Group Deputy Chairman and was involved in corporate development initiatives across multiple markets.

His appointment marks a continued investment in the senior leadership team as Verne scales its AI-ready data center campuses across the Nordic region and deepens relationships with enterprise and hyperscale customers seeking sustainable, high-performance compute infrastructure.

“Fabio brings a fresh perspective, delivery focus and strategic insight that will be instrumental as Verne continues to grow,” said Dominic Ward, CEO of Verne. “His experience across legal, operational, and strategic functions makes him a valuable addition to our team as we pursue our next phase of growth. We’re excited to have him onboard.”

“I’m thrilled to join Verne at such an exciting moment in the company’s history,” said Braz. “What stood out to me immediately was the calibre of the team and the clarity of the mission. Verne is not only delivering best-in-class high performance infrastructure for AI workloads — it’s doing so with a clear commitment to sustainability and innovation – and I am excited to be a part of the journey.”
