CybExer's innovative AI cyber defence solution

CybExer announces a ground-breaking AI powered cyber defence solution to elevate organisational cyber resilience in controlled environments.

CybExer, a leader in cyber range technology, has unveiled its latest development: an AI enabled Active Cyber Defence Solution. This pioneering initiative aims to revolutionise how organisations prepare for and respond to cyber threats by combining artificial intelligence, offensive cyber tools, and cyber range technology into a seamless solution.

The goal is to enhance cyber resilience in controlled settings by using AI assisted offensive capabilities. This will allow organisations to better understand and counteract evolving threats, thereby refining defensive strategies. The limitations of traditional approaches, such as manual red teaming, will be addressed with a more automated, scalable approach.

Current developments focus on cyber ranges, but the technology’s scalability is set to extend its applications to national defence and critical infrastructure. The research will pave the way for implementing active defence strategies outside traditional cyber range environments, making it broadly applicable.

CybExer leads this project, utilising its extensive experience in cyber range tech and cybersecurity exercises. The company partners with CR14 and the Cyber-Defence Campus of armasuisse, both known for their excellence in NATO level cyber ranges and AI applications in defence.

The project centres on enhancing AI functionalities within cyber ranges. Notably, CybExer remains the only company worldwide with such advanced capabilities, integrating AI driven cyber ranges with AI warfare expertise. This partnership is conducting research on AI’s role in decision-making and enhancing defence automation, forming the bedrock for these innovations.

Expertise from the Cyber-Defence Campus underpins the project’s success, particularly in red teaming automation and realistic training environments. Their focus sharpens the scientific and operational understandings of AI in modern defence strategies.

Modular by design, the solution can seamlessly integrate with various platforms. Whether as a standalone tool or part of a broader system, it’s primed to meet future operational demands in AI application to active cyber defence.

With €494,200 in support from Enterprise Estonia, contributing to a project totalling €700,000, CybExer remains at the forefront of AI enabled cyber range advancement, strengthening readiness and resilience against emerging cyber threats.
