PowerStore's latest release introduces updates in QLC technology, cybersecurity, and unified file operations, providing businesses with tools to address evolving challenges. Key enhancements aim to target cost-efficiency with high-capacity QLC drives and strengthen data protection via replication options, all while enhancing file system capabilities for growing business needs.

In an uncertain world where data demands surge and cyber threats loom, businesses face mounting pressure to do more with less. The PowerStore platform seeks to turn data into strategic advantage, tackling IT challenges with solutions in storage density, security, and operational simplicity.

Enterprises can now explore solutions that aim to balance performance, cost, and reliability. PowerStore's QLC models provide NVMe performance while aiming to deliver cost savings with the introduction of 30TB QLC drives, businesses can store up to 2PB of data in only 2U of rack space. This aims to reduce costs and improve power efficiency, addressing rising energy expenses and growing storage needs.

With cybersecurity threats ever-present, data protection is paramount. PowerStore's software release aims for: synchronous replication for block workloads, asynchronous replication for file systems, and metro sync replication for ensuring zero RPO/RTO. Built-in capabilities, alongside PowerProtect integration and AI-powered anomaly detection, aim to provide flexible, cyber resiliency strategies tailored to business needs.

PowerStore's unified architecture hopes to simplify diverse workloads, further enhanced with support for NFSv4.2, including server-side copy, sparse files, and secure labeled NFS.

The new "Top Talkers" feature provides insights into file resource consumption. Administrators can monitor performance metrics, identifying top consumers and addressing bottlenecks with QoS policies to optimise performance and deliver top-tier services.

These innovations position PowerStore as a versatile platform, designed to support current business needs and accommodate future growth.
