TES Power has been awarded a contract to supply modular power infrastructure to a data centre project in Northern Spain. The data centre will support AI-focused operations.
The project is slated to deliver 48MW. TES is responsible for designing and manufacturing 25 fully integrated 2.5MW IT power skids. These skids are intended to support high-density compute environments, where rapid deployment and power resilience are important.
The modular, skid-based power systems developed by TES are engineered for workloads associated with AI applications. By using factory-tested and off-site manufactured infrastructure, the approach aims to reduce the time required to bring the data centre online.
TES’s approach integrates Building Information Modelling (BIM) to support coordination across design phases, installation, and lifecycle planning. This is intended to improve efficiency and support future developments in power management for data centres.
Spain is seeing increased activity in advanced power deployments, and this project contributes to developments in the high-power data centre sector. As data demand grows, driven in part by advancements in AI and machine learning, infrastructure is evolving to support those requirements.
The project reflects broader investment in technological infrastructure in Spain and aligns with increasing demand for scalable data centre capacity.
TES Power’s role in the project highlights its focus on power infrastructure solutions and its involvement in large-scale deployments. The project emphasises the importance of reliable and adaptable power systems in supporting digital infrastructure growth.
