LSEG partners with Dell for private cloud infrastructure enhancement

LSEG has partnered with Dell Technologies to develop a private cloud platform and optimise its on-premises infrastructure, supporting resilience for its market data systems.

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has entered into a multi-year partnership with Dell Technologies. The collaboration is intended to support the optimisation of LSEG’s existing on-premises infrastructure and the development of a private cloud platform. The platform is expected to support resilience and performance across LSEG’s Data & Analytics and Markets platforms that operate outside of public cloud environments.

The initiative involves the use of Dell Technologies’ servers, storage systems, and automation software to build a private cloud environment. The platform forms part of LSEG’s broader multi-cloud strategy and complements its existing public cloud partnerships.

LSEG’s engagement with Dell Technologies is aimed at supporting flexibility and operational requirements within its technology environment. The development is intended to support services used in global financial markets and to contribute to the performance and reliability of LSEG’s systems.

The private cloud infrastructure is designed to meet requirements related to availability, security, and regulatory compliance. It is intended to support a range of workloads while allowing LSEG to maintain control over its infrastructure environment.

The collaboration is expected to support LSEG’s ongoing infrastructure development and its provision of market and data services.
