UC4 appoints new Chief Marketing Officer

UC4 Software Inc has announced the appointment of Craig Beddis, a 20-year senior veteran of sales and marketing business transformation in the tech sector, as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer, with immediate effect.

  • 11 years ago Posted in

Most recently Craig has been the SVP for Northern Europe and APAC at UC4, as part of a Business Initiative to drive new customer acquisition and license revenues. During this time, he spearheaded a series of ground-breaking and highly successful marketing and sales campaigns, achieving 55% YOY license growth and more than 60 new marquee customers. As a result of this growth and thought leadership, UC4 was named as one of the ‘Top 20 Companies’ to watch by CIO Magazine UK.

In this new role, Craig will replicate many of the strategic marketing and sales initiatives he successfully implemented in Northern Europe across the whole of UC4’s global reach. Craig will continue to build the business through thought leadership, closer alignment of sales and marketing, and promoting UC4’s ONE Automation strategy and its leading position by elevating the brand and go to market messaging.

Prior to UC4, Craig held a number of business growth and leadership roles at BMC Software, Citrix, Netscaler, Iona and WebPerform Group/Gomez. In his 20 years, Craig has shown his passion for strategic and creative thinking, with great results.

Jason Liu, CEO of UC4, commented: “This is a critical and incredibly exciting time for UC4 as we continue to grow globally, invest in re-branding and positioning, align our sales and marketing activities in a clear strategy to shake up the market. Craig's track record at UC4 speaks volumes for his ability to help us shape and create the next phase in our evolution.”

Craig Beddis added, “Automation is now a critical enabler and differentiator for enterprises as they look to build new service offerings and revenue opportunities in the digital age. UC4 is leading the way as the automation thought leader globally and to have the opportunity to shape the business at this stage of aggressive growth is incredibly exciting.”

Craig will be replacing Randy Clark, who leaves to join Mercury®, a leading payment processing and revenue generation solution, as Senior Vice President of marketing.
