VMware chooses Attenda

Attenda selected to participate in new VMware Program designed to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption.

Attenda Limited has been selected by VMware to participate in the VMware Cloud Credits Purchasing Program, which was officially launched at VMware Partner Exchange on 25th February.

Attenda is one of a few select VMware Service Providers across EMEA chosen to help launch the new Cloud Credits Purchasing Program, which is designed to enable Clients who have purchased VMware Cloud Credits to redeem their credits, against recurring Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) spend, for public and hybrid vCloud services.

VMware has introduced the Cloud Credits Purchasing Program to help organisations to take advantage of cloud services. The Cloud Credits are effectively vouchers that can either be purchased alongside a customer’s main enterprise licence or separately, with the ability to then buy cloud services from any service provider in the Program.

Furthermore, the Program is designed to accommodate variances in descriptions, service levels and packaging of services, providing VMware customers with freedom of choice in service provider; and to use VMware ‘cloud credits’ to purchase on-demand cloud services as an integral part of their cloud solution.

Commenting on the new Program, Clive Grayson, Attenda’s Director of Service Strategy, said, “We understand that developing an enterprise cloud computing strategy requires major decisions about IT infrastructure investment and applications hosting; and are delighted to be part of the new VMware Cloud Credits initiative, which is designed to stimulate enterprise cloud adoption.”

Attenda recognises that clients and prospective clients are all at different stages in the formulisation and implementation of their cloud strategy. It is actively working with clients to provide a range of highly resilient, scalable, secure and highly available cloud solutions, comprising self- managed, lightly managed or fully managed services, to suit a wide variety of applications and computing needs; together with the provision of consulting services to facilitate the right choices and ensure delivery of the required business outcome.

Grayson adds, “Delivering hybrid cloud solutions is an integral part of Attenda’s cloud strategy and we believe the VMware Cloud Credits Program is a tremendous way to help accelerate the adoption of hybrid cloud services; enabling VMware customers with Cloud Credits to purchase cloud services from Attenda in a simple and effective way.”
