PSU partners with Cloud Service Provider Outsourcery

Award-winning ICT services provider PSU Technology Group (PSU), has entered into a new partnership with Outsourcery, leaders in cloud-based IT and business communications solutions.

The agreement with Outsourcery will enable PSU to deliver a hosted version of Microsoft LyncTM and further strengthen its service proposition to customers.

As a fully-integrated provider of IT managed services and a major reseller of Mitel products, the hosted “Unified Lync” solution from Outsourcery, will enhance PSU’s unified communications offering and the options available to customers that recognise the benefits of cloud-based solutions.

Commenting on the deal, Rob Deacon, PSU’s Professional Services Director said: “Microsoft LyncTM provides unquestionable benefits and this partnership will enable us to deliver a hosted solution based on proven results, as Outsourcery’s ability to consistently provide excellent service and support mirrors our very own high standards.”

Unified Lync offers a simple and effective way to transform business communications. Through a single, intuitive client Unified Lync offers instant messaging and presence; voice, video and web conferencing and PBX voice functionality – all delivered from the cloud on a flexible, configurable service model. Unified Lync integrates fully with other Microsoft applications, including Office and Exchange, meaning users can rapidly adopt the new technologies for the maximum benefits.

Adam Cathcart, Head of Partner Management, Outsourcery stated “We view PSU as a fantastic partnering opportunity based on its IT and communications expertise, which has been evident in the company’s growth and recognition in the channel. We have established a partnering relationship and look forward to supporting PSU in successfully taking its cloud-based solutions, like Unified Lync, to market.”
