VMTurbo has announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has approved and issued two patents covering proprietary uses of economic principles in the management and control of IT environments. This proprietary technology can be used to facilitate resource allocation and placement of virtualized workloads.

“Utilizing a market-based approach that is rooted in economic principles enables one to control data center workload and resource allocation and configuration in a desired state. VMTurbo drives the actions to assure service delivery while maximizing the ROI across the virtual infrastructure,” said Shmuel Kliger, chief technology officer and founder of VMTurbo. “We are thrilled to have been awarded multiple patents as they further support the fact that we are the only company solving the problem of what workload to run where and when to assure application performance while utilizing the environment as efficiently as possible - the biggest challenge in operating virtualized and cloud environments today.”
