Imerja hand-picked for G-cloud framework

Bolton-based IT solutions specialist, Imerja, has secured a place on the government’s G-Cloud framework, further underlining the company’s reputation and expertise in the public sector.

G-Cloud, set up by the Government Procurement Service, allows public sector organisations to quickly and easily procure cloud IT services from approved suppliers. To win a place on the framework, suppliers must go though a rigorous selection process, ensuring that only trusted providers with sufficient capability and expertise are selected.

Imerja has secured positions on two separate lots and can now provide organisations with services both under ‘Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)’ and ‘specialist cloud services’ through the national framework.

Imerja works with a number of public sector organisations, providing a range of services fromcloud and IT security to managed services. Fully accredited to ISO27001 and an approved N3 Supplier, Imerja provides services to government, blue light and healthcare organisations. Its long list of clients includes the likes of Lancashire Healthcare, Liverpool Women’s and Alder Hey NHS Trusts, Essex County Council and Westminster City Council.

Ian Jackson, managing director at Imerja, said: “To have won a place on this highly sought-after national framework is a great achievement. We’re acutely aware of the issues that public sector organisations face and this success clearly demonstrates our expertise in the field.”
