Proact announces the release of Probox for Education

Proact, Europe’s leading storage integrator and Cloud enabler are proud to announce the release of Probox for Education, our on-premise (or hosted) Cloud file-sharing service designed specifically for the education sector.

With years of experience working with our customers within the education sector, we understand the need for staff and students to be able to work flexibly and remotely, whilst still maintaining the highest standards of security and availability.

Probox allows staff and students to access, share and sync files from anywhere, at any time and on any device. So whether they are online or offline, using a mobile, tablet or laptop, they can always access their critical information.

Probox is always delivered as a service by Proact - but we give our customers the option of hosting the Probox platform in their own datacentre, or for Proact to deliver it from one of our secure facilities, giving them complete flexibility and control.

What makes the service different is that it’s underpinned by enterprise-grade security and contractual SLAs, so the availability and security of the users’ information is never compromised.

Proact are offering free 30 day, no obligation trials for any educational institutions wanting to test the service to see how it could empower their students and faculty to work more effectively.

‘Proact have a strong heritage of working with public sector customers, and our years of experience have given us the expertise to design solutions that meet their specific needs,’ said Jason Clark, CEO of Proact UK. ‘We have been delivering Cloud Services for over five years, and our dedicated Probox for Education offering is yet another example of how we are leading the way in providing innovative solutions to resolve specific business problems.’
