IS HyperGrid™ Enterprise Cloud platform now available in TelecityGroup Amsterdam

Dedicated, low latency connection to IS HyperGrid™ available across TelecityGroup’s Amsterdam facilities.

IS Group, one of the Netherlands’ leading cloud service providers, has launched IS HyperGrid™ Enterprise Cloud, offering customers located in TelecityGroup’s Amsterdam data centres a direct connection to IS Group's highly secure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud platform.
IS HyperGrid™ enables enterprises to build cost-effective and flexible hybrid cloud environments. The direct connection available in TelecityGroup's data centres reduces network costs, increases bandwidth throughput, and enables a more consistent network experience than public internet-based connections.

The service is available immediately for customers based in any of TelecityGroup’s data centres in the Netherlands. Customers with equipment located in their own office or data centre can also access the IS HyperGrid™ service with the same premium network experience by using the end-to-end CrossNet connectivity solution offered by IS Group. The CrossNet service is based on leading Dutch telecom networks and offers global coverage with international telecoms providers and over 300 peering agreements with global ISPs via the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX).
Jan Willem des Tombe, IS Group’s CEO comments, “IS HyperGrid™ provides a very powerful cloud computing platform. Combined with our CrossNet connectivity solution, we offer a seamless connection between on-premise infrastructure and our leading enterprise cloud computing environment available with TelecityGroup across Europe. Our successful relationship with TelecityGroup dates from 1999 and both companies have worked very closely together to offer this solution to our customers.”

Alexandra Schless, TelecityGroup’s Managing Director, Netherlands, comments, “Our data centres are the perfect environment for cloud service providers such as IS Group to grow thanks to the premium levels of connectivity, power, security and resilience we provide. TelecityGroup data centres enable seamless partnerships between enterprise, cloud and connectivity providers. We are delighted to see the number of services exchanged between our customers within our highly connected digital ecosystems increase with the introduction of IS Hypergrid. By working with expert partners such as IS Group, TelecityGroup customers will benefit from local availability of a wide range of enterprise-grade cloud and connectivity solutions.”
