Norse Group, the UK’s leading public sector facility management, care provider and property consultancy has selected MigSolv’s Gatehouse Data Centre as its provider of colocation services for its IT equipment. The company with revenues in excess of £250 million and with over 10,000 employees, specialises in public sector partnerships forming joint ventures to deliver high quality services. Norse Group had been looking for a high quality data centre without the risks of being located in London. MigSolv’s Gatehouse Data Centre not only provides the quality that Norse Group were looking for, but also, through its environmental efficiency, meets the group’s Corporate Social Responsibility targets and helps in reducing their impact on the environment.

Norse Group’s client list reflects its diversity, strength and market potential. The NHS, MoD, the emergency services, (Fire & Rescue and Police), housing associations, local authorities and numerous private sector organisations mean that Norse Group needed a data centre that offered the levels of resilience that they needed along with low latency connectivity enabling them to reach out to their businesses which are as diversely placed as Colwyn Bay, Kendal, Brighton and Great Yarmouth. MigSolv’s experience of running data centres for clients and developing industry standard best practice through their consultancy, combined with their reputation for excellent service made the final selection a very simple decision.

“We are delighted to welcome this award winning organisation to The Gatehouse and look forward to exceeding their expectations of both service and reliability over the coming years”, said Alex Rabbetts, CEO at MigSolv. “Our strict selection criteria and high expectations of quality and environmental efficiency made this an easy decision to take”, said Rick Necchi, ICT Director of Norse Group, “When it came down to it, there were very few operators out there that can offer this level of facility and service.”
