IQNavigator automates IT and business processes with ServiceNow

IQNavigator has deployed ServiceNow software-as-a-service to automate its internal IT and business processes. In addition to using ServiceNow applications, IQNavigator built custom applications on the ServiceNow Service Automation Platform to address software change standards and IT compliance management.

IQNavigator provides solutions to help global enterprises intelligently manage their procured services through their ecosystem of people, partners and suppliers. IQNavigator’s multi-tenant SaaS vendor management software automates the entire lifecycle of the non-employee workforce—enabling hiring managers, category owners, MSPs and suppliers to better manage independent contractors, consultants, temporary workers and outsourcers.
“We were in search of a solution for managing internal incidents that would eliminate the current manual processes we had for routing requests,” said Craig Rants, vice president, Information Services, IQNavigator. “With ServiceNow, we have a single portal for incidents across the entire company whether they pertain to an employee or a customer. Automated workflows allow us to effectively manage services and respond in a timely manner.”

Using the ServiceNow IT Service Automation Suite, IQNavigator consolidated incident, problem and change management to create a single system of record for their enterprise IT. IQNavigator developed a custom application using the ServiceNow platform to manage workflow and approvals for application software changes. This helps IQNavigator meet strict quality assurance standards and ensure regulatory compliance.

IQNavigator also uses the ServiceNow IT Governance, Risk and Compliance application to automate the collection of evidence to meet SSAE 16 SOC 1, 2 and 3 attestation standards. This has improved the accuracy of the company’s self-audit and reduced the time its auditors spend on-site collecting information. Now, IQNavigator has a real-time understanding of how it is doing against its controls.
