Gridstore, a leader in converged infrastructure purpose-built for Microsoft Hyper-V has officially been selected as a finalist for this year’s prestigious Storage, Virtualisation and Cloud (SVC) awards, with the recent launch of its HyperConverged Appliances.
Gridstore has just this week introduced a range of Hyper-V focused hyper-converged appliances, including the first all-flash appliance, to deliver tunable, auto-optimised compute and storage resources together in a single system. This is part of the company’s ongoing mission to innovate in the ever-evolving storage industry landscape.
Andy Hill, Vice President of EMEA Sales, Gridstore comments: “Gridstore launched in the UK less than a year ago and we have seen a tremendously positive response since we arrived. We’ve built a solid and selective partner base, while at the same time maintaining a strong focus on the development of our storage focused solutions and we continue to keep this momentum going. Gaining recognition for our efforts by being selected as a finalist for the ‘Storage Company of the Year’ category for the SVC awards is hugely rewarding news, and we look forward to the awards evening next month.”
The SVC Awards reward the products, projects and services as well as honour companies and teams operating in the cloud, virtualisation and storage sectors. They recognise the achievements of end-users, channel partners and vendors alike.
Members of the IT industry are now invited to cast their vote for the category on the SVC website before voting closes on Sunday 9th of November. An award ceremony to announce the winners will take place this year on Thursday 27th of November at the Montcalm Hotel, Marble Arch, London.
