Eight in a row! Softcat is named Mimecast’s Partner of the Year 2015

Softcat grew its Mimecast customer base by 30% in one year.

Email management and cloud email services provider Mimecast has named Softcat its premier partner of the year 2015 for the eighth year in a row, following outstanding performance and business growth throughout the financial year.

Mimecast’s CPO Alan Kenny presented the award at the company’s annual partner awards at The Brewery in London last week.

Softcat’s managing director Colin Brown, accepting the award alongside Softcat’s network and security specialist Robert Mariconda, said: “We’re delighted to have won this award again. It’s a real testament to the hard work of our sales teams who put in 100% effort day after day to look after our customers’ interests. We strive for maximum performance every year, but this year we’ve additionally focused on the needs of larger enterprises, enabling us to grow our Mimecast customer base by 30%.

“Mimecast’s unified email management solutions are a huge benefit to our customers, and the support and investment we receive from Mimecast as a partner is phenomenal, so a big thank you to them. Mimecast’s solution is ideal for any organisation with concerns about email failure; emails are such a critical part of business these days that it is now the norm to keep everything backed up, supported, protected and put archiving in place. We’re so confident of Mimecast’s solution that we’ve used it internally ourselves for over five years to manage and archive emails.”
