New Head of Architecture to drive future development at RDT

General insurance software provider RDT has appointed digital specialist Mark Degenaar as its new Head of Architecture. Mr Degenaar, an accomplished Senior IT Leader, will be responsible for all aspects of RDT’s product architectures including digital strategies and platform transformations, and will support the delivery of its client’s business strategies and digital transformations.

RDT provide the UK’s market-leading insurance administration system Landscape and award-winning insurer-hosted rating solution, Equator. Clients include Markerstudy, Towergate, Canopius and DLG.  
 
Mr Degenaar, who will report to RDT’s Chief Technical Officer Rob Grigg, said: “As RDT’s Head of Architecture I’m working with a talented, dynamic and driven team. We are delivering the insurance platforms of tomorrow, today. High on the agenda is digital transformation software, changing the insurance game and working in true partnership with our customers. We are delivering excellence and helping our customers to shape their businesses in the digital era.”
 
Before coming to RDT Mr Degenaar was Chief Architect at AXA PPP Healthcare, and before that he worked as Principle Consultant in Architecture and Strategy for leading European consultancy firm Reply.
