By leveraging BroadSoft's expertise in delivering cloud UC services, service providers in France can capitalize on the transition to cloud-based Unified Communications (UC) services by businesses of all sizes, from micro-businesses to large enterprises. The French cloud UC market is set to enter a period of rapid expansion, with the market set to grow at 19% CAGR over the next five years, from EUR 44MM in 2015 to EUR 106MM in 2020(1).
One service provider looking to capitalize on this market opportunity is NextiraOne, which has selected BroadSoft's UC-One(R) to power its new cloud-based PBX and UC solution. NextiraOne easycollab Cloud is aimed at small-medium businesses (SMB) from 20 to 250 users. SMBs represent 74% of the cloud market, yet only 6% of SMBs currently use cloud services -- below the average of 10% for Western Europe.(2) easycollab Cloud allows businesses to improve their performance through better interactions between employees, suppliers and customers. It integrates telephony, video, single number, presence management, audio and video group conferences, and collaboration screen-sharing, giving customers a scalable UC solution with advanced and seamless mobile capabilities to meet their needs as they grow.
"easycollab Cloud is a critical part of our ongoing plans to establish ourselves in the local market as having the most robust cloud PBX and mobile UC service offerings for the SMB market," said Daniele Lepeltier, Marketing and Innovation Director, NextiraOne. "Our relationship with BroadSoft has been essential to the rapid design and delivery of the new service. We're now able to propose a simple and clear offer to SMBs that enables their end customer to migrate away from expensive and complex premise-based PBX solutions, provide on-demand flexibility, and enhance workforce productivity, team collaboration, and mobility."
BroadCloud provides service providers like NextiraOne with a managed, end-to-end operating platform, which supports the full life-cycle of the business customer -- from initial quote to service activation to support processes. BroadSoft's UC-One enables voice, high definition audio and video, instant messaging and presence, conferencing, call logs, and collaboration with screen-sharing for business to be available on a single interface -- regardless of the user's preferred devices or type of connectivity (mobile, fixed-line, etc.).
Taher Behbehani, chief digital and marketing officer, BroadSoft, highlights the market need and opportunity for this solution: "Worldwide businesses are rapidly embracing cloud unified collaboration solutions due to their superior economics and flexibility. In our recent user survey, service providers predicted that the cloud collaboration global market would grow 6x by 2020 and one-third of SMBs would deploy 100% mobile solutions."
Craig Decker, managing director, sales, EMEA, BroadSoft, explains why BroadCloud will be a valuable addition to the French market: "Our proven carrier-class cloud UC services and innovation give service providers like NextiraOne the confidence and flexibility to meet the communications and collaboration needs of businesses of all sizes. Businesses in France will now be able to help their employees communicate and collaborate from any location, at any time, using any device."
