Bates Wells Braithwaite LLP (BWB), a leading London-based commercial law firm, has engaged Managed 24/7 in a five-year project to design and implement a full digital transformation of its IT infrastructure.

The company – which was voted ‘Managed IT services provider of the year’ in 2016 at the CRN awards – is working with BWB to support the firm in achieving its ambitious growth plans for the future.  The contract covers the installation of an entirely new IT platform for the firm, plus long-term monitoring using Managed 24/7’s unique predictive intelligence based software.

Managed 24/7, has extensive experience providing always-on IT monitoring and support services to a number of top legal firms.  Its team will design and execute an effective, relevant and value-for-money IT system and service that is specifically in line with BWB’s strategic business needs.

Chris Simmons, IT Director at Bates Wells Braithwaite, comments:  “BWB has been growing steadily for the past decade and, most recently, we have been looking into how we can continue this success over the next decade.

“With this in mind, we have appointed Managed 24/7 as the partner who will help build the IT architecture we need to achieve this aim.

“Throughout the procurement process it became clear to us that they possessed the necessary expertise, as well as the required wide-ranging knowledge of the legal sector –making them, all in all, the ideal partner.

“As we look to the future, we believe that Managed 24/7’s predictive service will help power the platform we need to deliver what BWB does best – providing excellent and responsive service.”

Stephen Boardman, Commercial Director at Managed 24/7 comments: “We’ve developed a deep appreciation of the specific needs and requirements of companies operating in the legal sector, so we understand how the right IT infrastructure can give firms the solid foundation they need to achieve growth.

“As well as deploying a cost-effective, future-proofed IT platform, we will be providing BWB with the OneCare service across the entire firm’s IT needs.  This, complemented by our OneView monitoring services, will provide real time transparency and visibility of technology performance, whilst offering a user-friendly dashboard for proactive IT management and reduction in IT complexity for BWB.”
