Tieto helping University of G?vle to introduce a new document management system

Tieto is helping the University of G?vle to introduce a new document management system. The agreement Tieto will deliver a standardised solution for document and case management which will digitalise the handling of regulatory documents and simplify daily operations for around 700 employees.

The new solution Public 360° will support the introduction of an integrated management system at the University of G?vle, which has about 17,000 students. The contract runs over four years.
”A modern university needs digital tools that support our daily work in the best possible way. Tieto’s solution makes it easy for all university staff to manage regulatory documents with the knowledge that the information is relevant and up to date,” says Maria S?rby, University Director at the University of G?vle.
Public 360° is already being used by more than 500 public sector organisations in the Nordics. The system ensures that employees always have access to the latest approved versions of regulatory documents, such as policies, constitutions and internal routines. The system also enables documents to be easily distributed and published, for example via an intranet. It also offers support for backdated documents, so that staff can easily see which rules were in effect during a certain period.
Tieto already supplies Public 360° to five other educational institutions and won the contract with the University of G?vle in competition with several other providers.
”We take pride in being able to help digitalize the university and college sector in Sweden. We are very pleased that the University of G?vle has trusted us with the modernisation of their information management and system support for important processes,” says Mats Brandt, Vice President Public Sector, Tieto Sweden.
