Exabeam to run SaaS Cloud offering on Google Cloud

Exabeam has announced a multi-year agreement to run Exabeam SaaS Cloud, a hosted cloud version of its market-leading Exabeam Security Management Platform (SMP), on Google Cloud. The company has also been named a Google Cloud security partner, and this expanded relationship will help Exabeam customers significantly accelerate cloud adoption, while delivering scalability and quick time to value.

As a hosted cloud offering, Exabeam SaaS Cloud provides the full functionality of the Exabeam SMP, including a data lake, behavioural analytics, case management, and security orchestration and incident response automation. Organisations can directly ingest data from dozens of popular cloud-based services, eliminating the need to route cloud data to on-premises data centres.

Behavioural analytics improve detection by identifying advanced threats, while response playbooks increase security operations centre (SOC) productivity through incident remediation automation using pre-built connectors to IT and security applications, regardless of where the applications are deployed.

In addition to running natively on Google Cloud, where its cloud compute and storage capabilities will reside, Exabeam can also protect data hosted with other cloud providers. By offering Exabeam Cloud Connectors to reliably collect logs from over 30 cloud services into Exabeam Data Lake, Exabeam Advanced Analytics, and any other security information and event management (SIEM) solution, users can significantly enhance their cloud security.

“As more customers understand the benefits of migrating workloads securely to the cloud, adoption is accelerating,” explained Shahar Ben-Hador, vice president, Product Management, Exabeam. “Combining Google Cloud’s capabilities with Exabeam’s market-leading security platform will give our customers the confidence that a move to the cloud can be scalable, efficient, easy to deploy and most importantly, secure.”

“We’re delighted that Exabeam has chosen to expand their footprint on Google Cloud and to welcome them as a key partner,” said Manvinder Singh, director, Partnership at Google Cloud. “Customers can deploy Exabeam on Google Cloud to get an enhanced view of the security of their core infrastructure and to identify advanced threats, further helping improve data security.”
