Under the agreement, Atos, together with an ecosystem of partners including Mercator, Opencast, and EY, will provide highly skilled technical and operational support for HMRC’s extensive network of Digital Delivery Centres, helping to deliver a more streamlined and efficient digital customer experience.

This contract forms part of HMRC’s wider transformation programme which will extend and enhance HMRC’s technical capability to respond to increasing demands across the Department. It will result in more accessible and intuitive digital services, improving the user experience for the citizens and businesses served by the Government department.

Nikki Kelly, Head of Public Sector & Defence Northern Europe, said: “In being selected by HMRC to help transform its client services we will work collaboratively and alongside our ecosystem of partners to enhance the experience for millions of HMRC customers and support its ambition to be a trusted, modern tax and customs department.”

This programme builds on Atos’ existing relationship with HMRC, having worked collaboratively with the UK Government department for over ten years on projects to support HMRC’s response to evolving citizen demands and transform service delivery.
