Bechtle becomes Schneider Electric’s first pan-European Elite IT Solution Provider Partner

The leading European IT services organisation achieves Elite-level status in newly launched mySchneider IT Partner Program.

Bechtle , one of Europe’s leading IT providers, has become Schneider Electric's first pan-European Elite IT Solution Provider. Graduating from Schneider Electric’s recently launched mySchneider IT Partner Program, Bechtle has achieved key accreditations in commercial and industrial edge computing, edge software and digital services, and data center design, power and cooling.

Headquartered in Neckarsulm, Germany, and with nearly 100 subsidiaries in 14 key locations in Europe, Bechtle is one of Europe’s leading IT, systems integration, and managed services providers. Its focus on “thinking globally and acting locally” has fast cemented its position as a channel leader, providing customers across the region with localized technical IT and data center expertise, and a familiarity with key regulatory and business requirements.

Bechtle has long held a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, becoming one of its first channel partners almost forty years ago. Now, as Schneider Electric’s first pan-European Elite IT Solution Provider, it has seen the opportunity to fast-track growth by supporting customers across data centers and edge computing environments, and via sustainable IT lifecycle and managed services.

“We are honored to be Schneider Electric’s first pan-European Elite IT Solution Provider,” said Nicole Dörr, Director, Datacenter Solutions, Bechtle. “We consider our companies to be one team which deliver mission-critical solutions to customers in Europe. This new accreditation further enhances our relationship, helping to expand our strategic business interests in remote monitoring and management services, IT sustainability and lifecycle services.”

mySchneider IT Partner Program

The new mySchneider IT Partner Program supports IT channel partners with a simplified program structure and diverse specializations for key sectors including data centers, IT solutions, software, and managed services. It provides partners with a new range of sales tools, training, and enablement resources, and includes benefits specifically aligned with each of its diverse specialization paths.

The ‘IT Solution Provider’ specialization, for example, enables Schneider Electric partners to combine multiple IT specializations and provides them with the ability to identify, resell, configure and/or install IT infrastructure solutions within the SMB or Enterprise market spaces. Key features include:

· New Interface: easy-to-navigate program dashboard offers visibility for sales, partners and program managers on company and individual progress against each specialization.

· Enhanced Training Paths: including a wide range of design tools, training, and resources to help partners diversify and strengthen their business models and meet customer demands.

· myRewards: tailored for partners businesses requirements, including rewards and financial incentives to proactively identify, develop, and help close new business opportunities.

· Sustainability: Access to Schneider Electric's Green Premium™ products and solutions offer sustainable and circular performance by design, providing customers with greater compliance and transparency, and reduced environmental impact.

A net zero channel

The new mySchneider IT Partner Program also offers a clear sustainability strategy for channel businesses via its Green Premium™ products, and its Energy and Sustainability services. As the global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, and with a Platinum Sustainability rating from Ecovadis, Schneider Electric’s net zero commitments perfectly align with Bechtle’s long-term environmental sustainability strategy. Bechtle, for example, has sold refurbished hardware for many years, and has also achieved a Silver rating from Ecovadis.

“As a business that aspires to lead the market, sustainability is central to our organisation, and it is our responsibility to safeguard the planet for future generations,” continued Nicole Dörr. “With greater awareness around the importance of sustainability, and in anticipation of more stringent international regulations, our alliance with Schneider Electric will help us drive our net zero strategy forward, and support customers across the region with sustainable solutions.”

"As one of the world’s leading channel organisations, and a long-standing partner of Schneider Electric, we’re delighted to see Bechtle become our first pan-European Elite IT Solution Provider, said David Terry, VP, IT Channels, Schneider Electric, Europe. “Our research with Canalys found that customers’ ESG strategies are influencing their IT Investments, so with sustainability becoming a key component of customer buying decisions, I believe that building strategic alliances with businesses who have the same values and vision will be key to building a truly sustainable and net zero IT channel.”
