This level distinguishes channel partners that have met the stringent criteria around customer success and staff skilling, as well as passed a third-party audit of their migration practices, earning them this Azure specialisation.

The Infrastructure and Database Migration to Microsoft Azure specialization is designed for channel partners to demonstrate their deep knowledge, experience, and success in planning and migrating infrastructure and database workloads to Azure. This specialisation can only be earned by channel partners that meet stringent criteria around customer success and staff skilling, as well as pass a third-party audit of their migration practices.

As companies look to modernise their applications and take full advantage of the benefits that cloud computing can deliver, they are looking for a partner with skills to assess, plan, and migrate their existing workloads to the cloud.

Brendan Murphy, global director of public cloud for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business, said, “This Infrastructure & Database Migration to Microsoft Azure Specialisation is a significant milestone for us. It highlights our ability to support our channel partners in accelerating their end customers’ migration journeys to Azure, especially with the additional significant benefits that come with this recognition. We are committed to providing our channel partners with the best tools and support to ensure their success in the cloud.”

Andrew Smith, general manager, partner program management at Microsoft said, “The Infrastructure and Database Migration Specialisation highlights the channel partners who can be viewed as most capable when it comes to migrating existing workloads to Azure. Arrow clearly demonstrated that they have both the skills and the experience to offer clients a path to successful migration so that they can start enjoying the multiple benefits of being in the cloud.”
