Panduit’s TrueEdge wall-mounted enclosures are designed for the expansion of edge applications such as local and remote switch, IT and server systems. The compact TrueEdge wall-mounted enclosures offer highly secure industry-leading capabilities within a low-profile space.

Panduit has broken new ground with this development, as 3, 6 or 9 active switch, server or edge computing systems, each 1U high, can be mounted vertically in these highly space-efficient cabinets. At the same time, additional switches, PDUs (power distribution units) or a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) can be attached to the side rails.

The structural design of the cabinet provides space for active equipment up to 36" deep. The TrueEdge has a static load capacity of up to 181 kg (400 lbs) and a thermal load capacity of up to

4 kW, requiring only 2 sets of fans.

The vertical wall mount enclosure is available in a range of sizes to suit the user's needs and can be used as a stand-alone micro data centre or as a replacement for a telecom room. Designed for applications where space is at a premium, the cabinets also add value to edge applications due to the opportunity to bring the equipment closer to the user.

The modular design of the cabinets, with a reversible door, provides easy access to the equipment and the door can be fitted with a locking handle for added security. The adjustable brackets can be fixed using either cage nuts or threaded nuts and Panduit also offers additional accessories for customisation, such as a fan or equipment rail kit.

Designed for the future of innovative network connectivity, TrueEdge vertical wall enclosures provide a secure, low-profile and scalable solution for environments where this was previously not viable. Constructed from 16-gauge steel, the enclosures provide robust protection against physical damage to ensure the longevity of the equipment housed within. In addition, Panduit's innovative wall-mounted enclosures meet the relevant UL 2416 standard for audio/video, IT and communications technology for cabinet and enclosure systems.
